Flower Farmers Big Weekend 2021

We are completely delighted to be taking part in the 2021 “Flowers Farmers Big Weekend” which will take place between 13 to 15 August this year. Organised by our membership organisation “Flowers From the Farm”, flower farms up and down the country will be throwing their gates open for you to see and talk about all the glories of flower farming.

Here at Wall Flowers Seasonal Blooms we are participating in two ways!

Firstly on the mornings of Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th we would like to invite you to come to visit our flower field, hear about how and what we grow here and a little about our plans for the future. You will then be invited to have refreshments in our floral marquee. Proceeds from the sale of the refreshments will be donated to our chosen charity which is Rushbury Primary School. Each year we raise funds to donate towards improving their weather station and climate change related activities. If you would like to visit, places are free of charge but must be booked in advance, with a maximum of 12 people visiting during any of the slots available. Our visits will start at 10 a.m. and again at 12 noon. We will not be offering pick your flowers during these visits.

If you would like to get “hands-on” with our flowers. We will be running our “Cut, Condition & Create” workshop on the afternoon of 13th, 14th and 15th August. Places are limited to enable plenty of creative space in our floral marquee. You will be given a lesson in how to cut flowers for best productive performance and we will talk about flower conditioning prior to you being let loose with a pair of flower snips in our flower field. Back in the marquee and over refreshments, we will talk about different floral mechanics prior to me teaching you how to make a bouquet. You then get hands on and create your own beautiful and bountiful bouquet to take home with you. Places for this workshop is £35/head.

We really do hope that you will join us to enjoy our flower field and to appreciate British flowers.

I have just tried to book and pay for your “cut, condition and create” workshop on Saturday 14th of August but I am not sure the payment has gone through. Would you be able to check if you’ve had a booking and payment from Anna Haglund please?

I am looking forward to hearing from you snd of course to visit your flower farm soon.
    Kind regards
